TRANSIT PUBLISHING TO RELEASE IAN HALPERIN'S NEW EXPLOSIVE BOOK: BRANGELINA ON DECEMBER 1ST

In his latest book, Brangelina, New York Times bestselling author Ian Halperin reveals how the superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their Hollywood spin-machine handlers have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together.

New York, NY November 2, 2009 -- On December 1, 2009, #1 New York Times bestselling author and journalist Ian Halperin will pull back the curtain on one of Hollywood's most powerful couples.

In his latest book, Brangelina, published by Transit Publishing Inc., Halperin reveals how the superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their Hollywood spin-machine handlers have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together.

Using his signature style of undercover investigative journalism, and at great personal risk, Halperin sets the stage for his focus on Pitt and Jolie by dispelling the myths surrounding Pitt's relationship with Jennifer Aniston and unveiling the real reason their "perfect" marriage crashed and burned on the front pages of the world's tabloids.

Jolie's saintly image as the perfect mother and wife are contrasted with new details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits, and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress. In the pages of Brangelina, readers will also find the real story behind Angelina Jolie's inspirational metamorphosis into one of Hollywood's most influential philanthropists, and they will be introduced to the key figure behind the scenes who orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

Through intimate interviews with those closest to the stars, Halperin has discovered explosive new details on how Jolie's personal lifestyle choices are not only affecting her growing family, but causing serious and potentially irreparable tensions with Pitt.

At once critical, gripping, shocking, yet sympathetic, Ian Halperin's Brangelina is the story behind the crumbling of Hollywood's most carefully constructed fantasies.
